The Goleta Education Foundation is excited to announce a brand new grant opportunity for GUSD educators! Teachers, principals, specialists, and more can now apply for a Professional Development Scholarship. These scholarships will provide educators with the chance to attend a conference, participate in a book study, take an online course, and more.
When reviewing the 2019 Innovation Grant applications, GEF board members noticed a trend ‒ teachers asked for grant money to pay for unique professional development opportunities. Each grant application varied, but it was clear that GUSD educators are passionate about continuous learning and being their best in an ever-changing educational landscape.
