Our Annual Lemon Run is back for our 11th Anniversary Celebration! Join us on September 20 at beautiful Goleta Beach Park for a day of fun, fitness, and community spirit. Let’s run together to support education in our community!
With competitive 5K (Jr. Grand Prix) and 10K (Grand Prix) races, and 1K Family Fun Run, we’ve got something for everyone. It’s a perfect event for competitive runners and first-timers alike. We’ll have great prizes and goodies from local businesses, fabulous food, and fun family-friendly activities! Come join the Goleta Education Foundation and support our schools, families, and community in the Good Land.
As we reflect on our 2025 run, we are so grateful for the opportunity to gather for an incredible Lemon Run! Thank you to all the runners, volunteers, and sponsors who made the 2025 Lemon Run a HUGE success! We had 775 participants, nearly 150 volunteers, and over 1000+ in attendance overall. It was a picture-perfect day at Lake Los Carneros & Stow House with food from local farms, Cristino’s Bakery, Kona Ice, Don Pepe’s Mexican Food Truck, prizes from local businesses, and art for all ages.
We raised $45,000 through this event! Proceeds from this event will allow GEF to support our essential programs and give out Innovation Grants and Professional Development Scholarships to our GUSD educators. These funds put money directly into the hands of GUSD educators to help them promote innovation and better teach all levels and kinds of learners.
